The Montreal Playback Theatre Company was born out of the Drama Therapy Circle of Montreal, and has been in existence since the winter of 1995. Our mission is to practice, develop, share and promote Playback Theatre in the greater Montreal area, to serve local communities’ needs through high quality Playback performances and workshops, and to serve company members’ needs for creative development, expression and play.
Over the years, our audiences have included friends and family of those with mental health concerns, elementary school children, community groups, seniors, The McGill School of Social Work, teens labeled at risk, members of a cancer support group and of course, the general public.
